Rachael Ward
MSW-Intern
Rachael Ward is a Master of Social Work intern therapist with a deep belief that healing begins by understanding the emotional patterns we’ve inherited and the ways we’ve learned to survive. Her work centers on helping clients recognize these unconscious cycles and reclaim the wisdom, power, and choice that have always belonged to them. Grounded in cultural humility and trauma-informed care, she brings a steady, compassionate presence to the therapy room, with experience supporting international survivors of torture and displacement.
A citizen of the Cherokee Nation, Rachael’s path to therapy has been shaped by a life rich in experience. She studied microbiology and chemistry, earned her chemical technician license, and went on to own and operate both a comic book chain and a community coffeehouse. These varied chapters fuel her respect for the complexity of human life and her belief that healing isn’t linear — it’s layered, lived, and deeply personal.
